The VISA telephone numbers below are important for tourists that might need to contact us  because of lost or stolen traveler's checks, credit cards, or to simply find a balance on your account/credit card. All of the VISA numbers listed below will accept collect calls from you while traveling anywhere in Mexico by making the call through this Toll Free Operator Services Number (this is a toll free number which does not require a card to be inserted into the pay phone):

Simply call the Toll Free Number above, and push "0" for a live operator, and ask the operator to place your call collect to any of our numbers listed below, and the operator will place that call for free by reversing the charges so that VISA USA pays for the entire length of your call no matter how long you may need to talk with us. This can save you a lot of money on your international calling needs, and especially in times of emergency.

And remember, any of our representatives can transfer your call --- even to an individual branch that you may personally deal with. So ask the representative for any department or bank branch that you wish to reach instead of hanging up and dialing multiple numbers. This should save you time and hassles.

  • Name of the financial institution that issued the card to you
  • Card type (i.e. Visa Classic, Visa Gold, Visa Platinum)
  • Country where the card was issued
 
  • Full credit card number of the card that is missing—and whether you are the primary cardholder or secondary cardholder
  • Exact cardholders name printed on the card
  • Billing Address—where your credit card bill is sent each month
  • Home phone number
  • Circumstances of the loss or theft
  • Identification verification information—social security number or similar, date of birth, and mother’s maiden name
