'Presidents Day' is celebrated in the commemoration of the birth of George Washington. This is a federal holiday and falls on third Monday of January. 'Independence Day', founded on 4th July 1776, Independence Day celebrates the birthday of United States of America. In the coming year 2009, Americans will celebrate its 233rd Birthday. On 'Labor Day' Banks of US shuts down and the day is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. Military veterans, who served the armed forces are honored and remembered on 'Veteran's Day'.

November 26 Thurs. Thanksgiving Day in lieu
